I write creative non-fiction. In 2011 I took a sabbatical and went to live in a barn in France, where I wrote to earn a living. I kept a journal of life in the barn, which turned into the book Lessons in Impermanence. Landing back in Wales, I discovered my roots, which run to the celebrated Welsh nonconformist Wiliam Prichard. I've been researching and writing about Wiliam's life for the past few years, based in my home on Ynys Môn.
