A little bit about...
Jane is a writer, designer and lecturer. Formerly Designer/Project manager at BBC Books, she has worked on a range of best-selling titles. Jane's industry background informs her teaching practice and she is course leader of the FdA Art & Design in Bangor, Wales. Jane works on a range of independent arts projects, some of which can be seen here.
In 2011 Jane took a sabbatical and went to live in France.
LESSONS IN IMPERMANENCE (Parthian 2014) is a memoir, reflecting on the challenges of this alternative lifestyle. Landing back in Wales she discovered her roots, which run to her ancestor, the Welsh Nonconformist William Pritchard (1702-1773).
Jane lives on the Isle of Anglesey, the 'cradle of nonconformity'. She balances her time carefully between writing, talking to art students and mopping the kitchen floor.
